This is one of my picks for a best of math games list. I heard about it first from the great Joe Schwartz,

The rules are direct:
Play on a blank 100s chart (10×10 grid)
Players take turns using different color pens to fill in the numbers of the chart
Once a player gets four numbers of their color in a row vertically, horizontally, or diagonally, they strike a line through their sequence, and get a point by marking a tally mark outside the grid.
The game continues until the board is full of numbers, whoever has the most tally marks wins
