Math Games for Kids – Learning Math for Kids – Addition and Subtraction Games – Kids Maths
There are lots and lots of math games for kids and maybe teaching them how to count is the most important one of them, because counting is not just about saying the numbers, but it is also about doing the different mathematical operations that are found in the world of math – these all come under the wide term of counting down.
This mathematical lesson or game for kids is based on the idea of choosing numbers and then using those numbers you have chosen to bring a given answer at the end. For example, parents will ask their kids to choose four different numbers less than 10, then choose a number that is multiplied by 10 and another multiplied by 25. The parent will choose a total number – any number – and the game will be to ask the kids to do addition, subtraction, multiplication or division that would end up giving that number or even one closer to it at the end.
This math game for kids is important because it will teach them lots of things; it will teach them to use different numbers to bring out a specific answer at the end, it will give their minds the chance to know how to add, how to subtract, how to multiply and how to divide and not just that, but will also give them the chance to combine these operations together in order to reach a specific number at the end.
There are lots of ways that could teach kids to count, add, subtract, multiply and divide, and these even come in addition to the basic ways that kids learn the first thing when they go to school and start their math lessons ().
Reaching the level that the kids could do some mathematical operations according to their choice, should always come after they know how to make a separate mathematical operation on its own; knowing how to add (, following the basic subtraction method (), knowing the techniques of multiplication () and knowing more about division and how to divide ().
The interesting thing about math and teaching your kids while homeschooling them is that there are lots of methods and different games with different toys and tools that could be used; you could play with your kids using play doh (), play with Lego () and the small cartoon characters that kids love to play with in general.
Homeschooling is now a step done by lots of parents and that is why they watch television and follow channels online in order to find all the creative ideas that they could try with their kids. Creativity is beneficial because kids will get bored so easily and thus you will need to try different things with them and not just that, but some methods might be more effective and easier for some kids and others might be hard for them, so you try and let them choose the method.
Once your kid gets to know all the numbers and know how to count, they will later on know how to use these numbers in different ways to solve the mathematical equations that they come to face and at the same time know more about the different math operations that are found out there.
